Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framing Specialist to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and the use of various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects
- Construct wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural elements
- Utilize woodworking skills to cut, shape, and assemble framing materials with precision
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all team members
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate framing execution
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects is a plus
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Strong carpentry background with knowledge of woodworking techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Construction experience across various project types enhances versatility and performance
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong teamwork skills
