We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to build and grow a book of business within the transportation and logistics sector. This is a high-upside opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, relationship-building, and creating long-term revenue growth.
This is not a transactional sales role. You’ll receive strong operational support, ongoing training, and the opportunity to earn recurring commissions as your customer base grows.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and develop new B2B opportunities within transportation and logistics
- Drive outbound sales activity through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social selling
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through close
- Develop long-term customer relationships and grow key accounts
- Collaborate with internal logistics and solutions teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting within the CRM
- Identify new market opportunities, industries, and customer needs
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience
- Established network within transportation, logistics, freight, or supply chain
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
- Experience using CRM platforms
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong time management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Nice to Have
- Customs brokerage experience strongly preferred
- Background in inside sales or account management
