Our Keskorie Boarding Home is cultural oriented with a friendly work environment that houses people from all over the Territory.
What You Will Do
Under the supervision and direction of the Hotel Operation Manager and Front Desk Supervisor the Guest Services Agent addresses and manages clients’ concerns and requests. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Indigenous clients by providing culturally sensitive support and assistance throughout their stay at Keskorie Boarding Home. Scheduled shift hours will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
A Day In The Life

Greet clients upon arrival at the facility, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

Work collaboratively with team members, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts constructively.

Coordinate and monitor hotel transfers to ensure clients experience smooth and efficient transportation and accommodations.

Coordinate with reception and shuttle drivers to facilitate clients' daily movements to hospitals and clinics.

Conduct welfare checks by visiting clients at hotels, gathering real-time feedback, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Handle guest complaints and concerns according to procedures and policies

Assist with luggage and shuttle service when necessary

Assist clients in contacting Medical Travel (MT) regarding travel arrangements and health-related inquiries, as required.

Assist with meal distribution (lunch and snacks)

Conduct hotel guest room audits to identify safety, maintenance, and client service concerns, reporting and following up on issues as appropriate.

Expected to be scheduled to work at partner hotels as part of regular job duties, based on operational requirements.

What You Bring

Knowledge of MS Office Suite and some data entry experience an asset

Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients

Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to take training immediately

WHMIS Certificate

Self-motivated and trustworthy

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
