What a Studio Assistant Means to Us
At Vérité Atelier, our Studio Assistant is one of the most important roles in the studio.
You are the person who helps keep everything moving. You are the support system behind our providers, the first face our clients see when they walk through our doors, and often the reason a busy day runs smoothly.
You are organized, proactive, professional, and kind. You notice what needs to be done before being asked. You take pride in creating a beautiful client experience and maintaining a studio environment that feels welcoming, calm, and cared for.
You are not simply answering phones or folding laundry. You are helping create the Vérité experience.
Position Details
Starting Wage: $18.00/hour
Compensation reviews will be based on performance, initiative, reliability, and contribution to the studio.
Schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday
9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
35 hours per week
Daily Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Greet every client warmly and professionally.
- Offer refreshments such as coffee, tea, or water.
- Assist with jackets and personal belongings.
- Keep clients informed if their provider is running behind.
- Ensure every client feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
Support Provider
- Anticipate provider needs and assist wherever possible.
- Prepare hot towels, supplies, and treatment room necessities.
- Reset stations between clients.
- Clean and sanitize tools as required.
- Support providers so they can focus on delivering exceptional services.
Studio Operations
- Answer phone calls with a professional, upbeat, and welcoming attitude.
- Respond to basic inquiries and assist with bookings.
- Call clients who have not confirmed upcoming appointments.
- Monitor waitlists and fill openings whenever possible.
- Assist with schedule management and holiday closures.
- Help maintain inventory and restock supplies.
- Prepare garbage and recycling for collection according to studio procedures.
Studio Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, luxury environment at all times.
- Ensure reception, treatment rooms, washrooms, and common areas remain presentable throughout the day.
- Take ownership of studio cleanliness rather than waiting to be asked.
Marketing Support
- Monitor same-day openings.
- Post stories and social media content highlighting appointment availability when needed.
- Assist with capturing content and supporting studio marketing initiatives.
Booking & Policy Enforcement
- Assist clients with booking, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Clearly communicate studio policies regarding cancellations, no-shows, deposits, packages, and appointment changes.
- Ensure clients understand policies at the time of booking when applicable.
- Professionally and consistently enforce studio policies while maintaining a positive client experience.
- Escalate concerns to management when necessary.
