Job Summary:
We are seeking a metal fabricator for our shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery including drill presses, bandsaws, brakes presses & milling machines etc. Welding experience will be considered an asset. Candidate will also be trained on the job and as work progresses.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprint
- Fabrication of metal items
- Following quality control standards
- General shop activities including maintaining good housekeeping
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Physically demanding, including lifting material up to 20 kg (44lbs)
- Good attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Work indoors and outdoors
- Able to work independently and assist others
- Good punctuality and attendance
- Steel-toe safety boots
