Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and service of tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, commercial trucks, agricultural equipment, and farm machinery. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, install, rotate, and repair tires on passenger vehicles, light trucks, commercial trucks, trailers, and agricultural equipment.
- Perform tire inspections and identify wear patterns, damage, and safety concerns.
- Conduct roadside and on-site service calls as required.
- Operate tire-changing and balancing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect wheels, rims, valves, and related components for defects or damage.
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Assist customers with tire recommendations and basic maintenance information.
- Support other shop operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous tire service experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of passenger, light truck, commercial truck, and agricultural tire applications is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate tire service equipment and shop tools.
- Valid driver's license required; Class 3A or higher is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 100 lbs (45 kg) or more with appropriate equipment.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and shop environments.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
