Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various concrete-related projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Your hands-on expertise will help bring construction visions to life, contributing to the creation of durable, functional structures. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds using carpentry and masonry skills
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, pumps, and compactors to facilitate concrete placement
- Install rebar reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks including concrete finishing, caulking, and surface smoothing
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
- Support in the installation of flooring, restoration work, and other renovation tasks involving concrete surfaces
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to transport materials safely around the job site
- Conduct basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation during projects
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, and finishing processes
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects
- Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery and power tools used in construction environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during restoration or renovation tasks
- Basic understanding of welding, flooring installation, caulking, and general site safety protocols
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Pay: $19.13-$38.65 per hour
