About The Role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Fund Accounting, this entry-level role supports operational excellence by ensuring the accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Value per Unit (NAVPU) for assigned client portfolios. The role plays a key part in delivering high-quality service to clients while contributing to continuous process improvement. As part of a client-focused Fund Accounting team, you will collaborate across geographic locations, take ownership of deliverables, and consistently strive to exceed client expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the accounting records of Client portfolios (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.)
- Produce a daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare draft financial statements, audit information packages and tax returns for clients
- Develop a professional and productive relationship with Clients and SGGG-FSI staff
- Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions
- Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have a Client impact

- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel
