Kelowna Golf and Country Club is currently hiring bartenders to join our team. We offer flexible hours, with day, evening and weekend shifts available.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide fast, efficient and friendly service to members and their guests at all times.
· Take accurate beverage orders while taking note of any special requests.
· Timely construction of beverage items maintaining accuracy and consistent quality.
· Maintaining adequate stock levels.
· Keep work area clean and organized at all times
· Deliver drinks to tables in a timely manner.
· Possess adequate knowledge of the menu items including ingredients preparation times and techniques.
· Wine knowledge considered an asset
· Basic cocktail knowledge an asset.
· Serving it Safe or Smart Choice Certificate - have up to date certification.
· Assist with setting up of event rooms
· Handle transactions, take credit cards or cash payments.
· Attend mandatory staff meetings and seminars.
· All other duties as assigned by a Supervisor or Management
All employees must adhere to Kelowna Golf and Country Club policies and procedures identified in the employee handbook including but not limited to; Grooming, Professional Conduct, Workplace Harassment and Code of Ethics.
Compensation:
Starting wage is $17.85/hr
