Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Bookkeeper to cover a maternity leave for a period of approximately 6 months. This is a temporary, fixed-term contract expected to run approximately from July 1, 2026 to Dec. 31, 2026.
Servco Manufacturing is a small but growing manufacturing company. The succesful applicant for this job will be joining a small team working out of a bright modern facility in Ancaster ON.
Requirements:
Some working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting programs is looked for. Additionally the candidate will be working in Excel and Smartsheet. Some previous experience in this kind of role is required. We are looking for candidate that is details oriented, a quick learner, a self directed worker, is flexible and comfortable fulfillng a range of task, and can bring a positive attitude to workplace.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting system.
- Proficiency in MS Office. (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Educational experience related to bookkeeping/accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- A/R - Creating and sending invoices, following up for payment, and preparing weekly cash flow report.
- A/P - Processing incoming bills and handling payment.
- Payroll - Processing payroll and handling medical reimbursements.
- Processing bank transactions and doing bank reconcilliations.
- Processing time sheets from manufacturing staff.
- Processing data from production system for costing purposes (Excel and Smartsheet)
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 4pm
