Compensation
Apprentice (1st2nd year): $21$28/hr
Apprentice (3rd4th year): $28$34/hr
Journeyman: $38$48/hr
Annual equivalent (JM, 40 hrs): $79,000$100,000 before overtime
About the Role
Rahall HVAC is a growing mechanical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients across the Edmonton metro. We are looking for skilled Sheet Metal Workers at all ticket levels to join our expanding field team on HVAC installation and service work.
Key Duties
- Fabricate, install, and modify HVAC ductwork systems to drawings and specs
- Install commercial and residential forced-air and ventilation systems
- Operate sheet metal shop equipment: press brake, shear, plasma cutter
- Read and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
- Coordinate with PM, foreman, and other trades on commercial projects
- Maintain a safe, clean worksite per OH&S and company standards
Requirements
- Alberta Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker certificate, or registered apprentice with Blue Book
- Experience with commercial HVAC duct fabrication and installation
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and job specs
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's licence
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
- Refrigeration or A2L refrigerant experience is an asset
