Our client, a leading distributor of electric products is currently seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3 days onsite and two days working remotely each week at their Mississauga offices.
What You'll Do

Support administration and optimization of [ERP/EPM/BI tools] including user access, master data, report maintenance, month end reporting, GL close and issue resolution
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes, document current-state and future-state workflows, and support implementation of improvements Support financial reporting by building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and forecasting templates

Serve as the primary point of contact for finance system issues, triaging incidents, coordinating resolutions, and escalating complex matters as needed Partner with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and support adoption

This role will support ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization, process standardization, system enhancements, and reporting optimization

Identify use cases for AI automation, RPA and LLMs to drive productivity and system efficiencies

Develop and maintain user guides, and training materials

Support internal controls and audit readiness by ensuring data governance best practices What You Bring
qualifications

3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or financial systems role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes (GL, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting)

Hands-on experience with ERP or EPM systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, TM1, or equivalent)

Experience with ERP implementations an asset

Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve financial processes

Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, WebFOCUS, Tableau) is an asset

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication skills — able to bridge finance and technical audiences

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience) Why Join Us
