Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a busy poultry processing facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with health standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Shifts are After 6pm roughly 4 hour/day > 7 days/week
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the poultry factory, including production floors, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools to ensure sanitation standards are met or exceeded
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and contamination
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed
- Assist with waste disposal and ensure proper handling of cleaning materials in accordance with safety guidelines
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations
