What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in helping children feel comfortable while supporting our pediatric dentists in delivering outstanding care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the pediatric dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments before appointments
- Taking digital dental radiographs (HARP certification required)
- Recording clinical notes and maintaining accurate patient records
- Educating children and parents on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and equipment
- Monitoring inventory and assisting with ordering supplies
- Supporting patient flow and helping create a positive experience for every family
- Working collaboratively with our clinical and administrative team
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program
- Level II Dental Assistant preferred
- HARP Certified
- Licensed and in good standing (where applicable)
- Previous pediatric dental experience is an asset, but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate
- Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Excellent communicator with children and parents
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
