Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining order among visitors and staff.
- Assist in conflict management situations, de-escalating tensions when necessary.
- Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
