We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess clients' health history and discuss treatment goals to develop effective therapy plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with health regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance results.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
- Uphold all licensing, certification, and regulatory standards required for massage therapy practice.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns clearly.
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in promoting client wellness and relaxation.
Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
