Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners through effective account management.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals aligned with company objectives.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Provide technical sales support by understanding client needs and recommending suitable solutions.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and service improvement.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to serve diverse client bases.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or related industries.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Business development experience with the ability to generate new leads and expand existing accounts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales processes.
- Analytical skills to assess market data, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to construction sales campaigns.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining motivation in a commission-based role.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse clients.
