Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, energetic service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Prepare and serve food items following proper food handling and sanitation standards to ensure safety and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward upselling and enhancing guest satisfaction
