Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is seeking a motivated Apprentice Truck and Coach Mechanic (310T) to join our maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside licensed mechanics while completing your apprenticeship.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist licensed technicians with inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Perform oil changes, tire work, brake inspections, and basic repairs
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete apprenticeship training requirements
- Maintain organized and tidy work environment including required tools for the job.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class G Driver's License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Registered in the 310T Apprenticeship Program; year 2 or 3 preferrable
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- 310S Automotive Service Technician license considered and asset
- Willingness to work afternoons
