Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure appealing dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Experience not required
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
- Prior experience with serving or meal service is a plus but not mandatory
- Food industry or kitchen experience is highly desirable
