This is for a season summer position that will be 8 weeks in length, for 8 hours each day Monday-Friday.
Some of the fun and creative things our teachers do include:
Creating and implementing lesson plans
- Using different media (books, internet, electronic devices) to teach skills.
- Implementing our curriculum and working with parents to create and implement fun and effective classroom activities.
Some of the competencies teachers must have:
An Early Childhood Education Certification, current criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and first aid
- Be passionate about early childhood education and have an interest in working with children.
- Be able to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately and thoroughly.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Have the ability to collaborate with others.
- Have the ability to handle conflict gracefully and effectively.
- Have the ability to plan and organize work space effectively.
- Have the ability to develop strong relationships with parents and children
