Job Summary
Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to join our team on a one-year full-time contract basis. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for invoices, payments, and financial transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO);
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions;
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial records on a regular basis;
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting;
- Support budgeting and financial tracking activities;
- Perform general bookkeeping and ledger maintenance; and
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required;
- Knowledge of Google Drive and cloud-based file management systems;
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or as an accounting clerk is preferred;
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable procedures;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; and
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
