On-Call Summer Lifeguard
Five Oaks is located in Paris, Ontario, on 116 acres of Carolinian forest, at the confluence of two waterways. Five Oaks’ engaging, active, and inclusive outdoor day camps are offered to children ages 5-14 during the months of July and August. Our skilled and enthusiastic staff lead adventures and explorations along the Grand River that foster a connection to the natural world and celebrate the unique gifts each camper brings to their experience. We also host a lot of different groups that request pool use over the summer as well.
We are currently looking for a qualified on-call summer lifeguard to join our team of outdoor enthusiasts, providing supervision at our outdoor pool, and weekly tubing trips. On-call summer lifeguards will also provide support to camp staff and supervising children during the pool use and river trips.
This is a great way to pick up hours over the summer. We are always in need to cover, holidays, sick days and extra bookings. We contact our on-call summer staff as soon as we see the need. This means you could be called in the morning of, or weeks in advance to schedule a shift. This is a no pressure position, we will compile a list of eligible candidates and move through the list when we need a shift filled.
