Prairie North Construction is recruiting a Dozer /Hoe Operators for a Project near Balzac, AB
Duties:
This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
- Operate Dozer as it applies to reclamation, sloping, backfilling, clean-up, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes
- Operate Excavator as it applies to ditching, sloping, clean-up in excavations and embankments, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
- Capable of operating a range of dozer sizes (D5 to D8)
- Capable of operating a range of excavator sizes
- Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
- Ability to work as a team and take direction.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess 2+ experience.
- Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
- Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
- Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Local Preferred
Certifications:
- MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN
- Ground Disturbance, CSO or CSTS2020, Wildlife/Bear Awareness and H2S
- Current Drivers Abstract
- Must Be Able to Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
