Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Automotive Technician with a valid 310S license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, hands-on experience in automotive repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
- Assist with vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacements
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and shop policies
- Support team members with technical guidance and training as needed
- Engage with customers to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
Experience
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license is required
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics for repairs
- Experience with welding, assembly, and mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair procedures
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Prior mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about vehicle issues and repairs
