Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing and appliance repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units
- Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to identify problems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and electricians, to complete installations efficiently
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of equipment
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, and boiler operations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively
- Experience in maintenance, appliance repair, or construction is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites
