Supreme Animal Nutrition Inc., an animal premix manufacturer in Abbotsford BC, has an immediate opening for a Quality Systems Coordinator.
Position Summary:
The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the company's quality, feed safety, and regulatory compliance programs. This role also supports purchasing, inventory management, product pricing, and general administrative functions to help ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems & Compliance
HACCP/FeedAssure Lead:
- maintain and administer the company’s HACCP/FeedAssure program.
- develop, update, and manage SOPs, records, and quality documentation.
- coordinate and lead both internal and external FeedAssure audits.
CFIA Liaison:
- monitor compliance of the CFIA regulatory inspections process.
- manage corrective actions, traceability and product recall procedures.
Manage and maintain the company’s SDS database.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints.
- Review production and quality records for compliance.
- Coordinate product testing, sampling, and documentation.
- Support product labeling and documentation accuracy.
- Assist with product specifications and ingredient approvals.
- Assist with customer documentation requests including quality certifications.
Administrative & Operational Support
Provide general office and administrative support as required including:
- Assisting with creating and processing purchase orders.
- Assisting with inventory reconciliation and month end counts.
- Assisting with product pricing and cost updates.
- Maintaining supplier documentation and approved supplier records.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Science or Business, or a related field preferred.
- HACCP training and certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience managing HACCP or quality management systems preferred.
- Experience in inventory management or office administration is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Job Type: Part time with potential for full time in the future. (22.5 to 37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: $24.00/hour to $32.00/hour depending on experience.
Upon successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, a comprehensive benefit package would commence.
