Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lift and stack 55lbs Be willing to drive forklift, be able to drive a pick up truck to do local deliveries (farming background would be an asset but not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals while managing time effectively.
- Willing to drive forklift
- Willing to make local deliveries in company truck
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Heavy lifting and customer carry outs are required.
- you will be working with feed, seed and farming supplies.
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with merchandising and maintaining visual standards in a retail environment.
- Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
