We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. Responsibilities
- Dishwashing Grills and Plates.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Help with the organization of food supplies and inventory management.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service times to ensure timely meal delivery.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices is an asset.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
