Our boutique clinic in Calgary offers a warm and welcoming space where clients can, with the support of a compassionate and experienced team, work through challenges related to relationships, trauma, and all mental health conditions.
We are currently seeking Fully Registered Psychologists and Provisional Psycholgoists to join our growing practice on a part time or full time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values autonomy, flexibility, and a collegial team environment.
Role Overview
As a Contract provider, depending on your scope of practice and preferences, you will work with a caseload that reflects your expertise and clinical interests while benefiting from team support. Our work includes providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, teens and children, using a variety of clinical modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments, first appointment bookings and ongoing psychotherapy with clients.
- Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in occasional team case consults and peer support meetings.
- Maintain professional registration and liability insurance.
- Collaborate with our admin team to ensure smooth scheduling, pay, and billing.
Qualifications:
Registered Psychologist and Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Master’s/PsyD or degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field; RMFT considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 -3 years of clinical experience (more preferred).
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Must carry professional liability insurance
-Provisional Psychologists are required to have an external CAP supervisor
Clinical Approach
We welcome therapists from a variety of therapeutic orientations and value diversity in clinical approaches. Clinicians are encouraged to bring their unique skills, experience, and theoretical perspectives to their work. As our practice has a strong focus on relationship counselling and trauma therapy, training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 and/or Level 2) and/or EMDR Therapy will be considered a significant asset.
