Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and sanitary TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
- Execute thin wall stainless tube welding according to specifications.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of welds through meticulous attention to detail.
- Utilize argon purge techniques to maintain high-quality welds and prevent oxidation.
- Read, cut and fit components as needed to achieve final outcome.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stainless Steel TIG Welder, with a focus on sanitary welding.
- Proficiency in thin wall stainless tube welding techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use argon purge techniques for high-quality welds.
- Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Competent with pipefitting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless welds.
- Familiarity with welding equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Welding certification (Journeyman) required.
Work Details
- Job Type: Permanent Full Time
- Expected Hours: 8 hour per day
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
- Location: Mostly in town with occasional travelling to clients' facilities in Alberta.

Experience:
- TIG welding: 2 years (required)
- Sanitary Tig Welding: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
- Confined Space Certification (preferred)
