Hickman Automotive Group is looking for a Tool Room Attendant to join our team at our Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac location in St. John's.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Issue tools to Technicians as required.
Responsible for recording and record keeping of tools, both manually and digitally.
Delivery of tools to the production area.
Receive new tools and store them in the tool room.
Cleans and maintains the tools stored in the tool room.
Performs an inventory of the tools in the storage room and prepares inventory reports for the Service Manager.
Investigates and searches for missing tools from the tool room.
Maintain an organized and orderly tool room.
Qualifications:
Experience is considered an asset.
Knowledge of approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs.
Strong interpersonal skills – pleasant, positive, and friendly personality.
Ability to maintain communication with Technicians.
Willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to work efficiently under minimum supervision.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks.
