Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor repairs when necessary
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and standards to ensure consistent quality of service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving objects as needed
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment
