About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and professional Clerical Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that supports the Clerical Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the Clerical department.
The Clerical Supervisor plays an important role in supporting clinic operations, staff scheduling, training, patient services, billing coordination, and departmental communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and supporting a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the onboarding, training, and development of clerical staff
- Assist with staff scheduling and ensuring appropriate department coverage
- Oversee and support patient appointment bookings and daily clerical workflows
- Communicate scheduling, booking, and operational updates to staff and management
- Support billing accuracy by liaising with accounting and MSP as needed
- Monitor inventory and coordinate ordering of clinic supplies when required
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with reports, data accuracy, and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Identify opportunities to improve clerical processes and patient service

Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment required
- Previous supervisory, team lead, training, or scheduling experience considered an asset
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Office Administration required
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, MSP billing, or medical imaging workflows considered an asset
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
