Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Director of Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing professional practical nursing services to designated residents, including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, collaboration and interaction within the healthcare team and participation in the coordination of resident care. The LPN demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of Miner's Memorial Manor.
Education/Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program and in good standing required.
- Clear and satisfactory Police Record and Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months, required
- Must have excellent work and attendance record.
- Must be willing to work on a rotating shift basis ( days and evenings)
- Minimum 2 years experience in Long Term Care setting (preferred)
- Current Standard First Aid or CPR Certificate

- Nursing care knowledge related to the clinical area. Roles and responsibilities of members of the healthcare team.
