Purpose
Responsible for administrative support for the Agriculture/Life Sciences Division. This position will be heavily focused around day to day administrative duties will play a key role to maintain industry leading customer service and sample turnaround.
Administrative Assistant (Agriculture and Life Sciences Division)
Education Required
- Post secondary education related to Agriculture or Life Sciences
Requirements
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and attention to detail skills.
- Strong computer and communication skills. (verbal and written)
- Strong liaison skills with clients.
- Support divisional quality and communication systems.
- Understanding of business etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Review client correspondence sample log in and details of client sample submissions.
- Provide detailed support to clients and help develop customized customer support services using various media.
- Maintaining of filing systems.
- Generate invoices.
- Answers and responsible for triage of phone calls.
- Follows up, identifies and communicates incidents that require immediate attentions with the division.
- Ensure reports are released to customers and follow up any special requests involving customer service.
- Develop and incorporate new client forms based on needs of customers for the management of samples.
- Handling of samples when required
- Assists all members of the senior management team as required.
- Any other tasks as determined by Process Owner/Supervisor
