Who we are:
For over 30 years HLD Muskoka continues to grow and build on our strong, dedicated team. Situated in the beautiful town of Huntsville, Ontario we work hard in one of Canada’s most beautiful and sought-after regions. HLD Muskoka is active in all areas of construction from design, excavation, high-end residential building to property maintenance and landscaping.
This summer, we’re looking for more energetic individuals to join our gardening team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plant new trees, flowers, and various plants
- Maintain and grow gardens to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations
- Perform property maintenance: lawn care, weed control and gardening
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as lawnmower, weed whacker and blowers
- Maintenance of all gardening tools and vehicles
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety and health regulations and policies
- Perform additional duties as needed
THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
- Energetic, positive and outgoing
- Physically able to perform labour intensive work such as lifting and bending repeatedly
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Exceptionally detail oriented
- Desire to learn and take initiative
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid G level driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
