Job Title: Pre-Weigh & Compounder (Mandarin Speaking Required)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pre-Weigh & Compounder who is fluent in Mandarin to join our cosmetics manufacturing team in Richmond Hill. You will be responsible for accurately weighing, preparing, and mixing raw materials to create bulk cosmetic products, ensuring all batches meet strict quality standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Handling: Accurately weigh and measure raw ingredients according to batch formulas, ensuring full traceability.
- Compounding & Production: Operate industrial mixing and blending equipment; strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor key batch indicators (temperature, viscosity, pH, etc.) and maintain precise batch records and logs.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tanks, mixers, tools, and work areas in compliance with GMP standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English with the production team.
Requirements:
- Language: Must be fluent in Mandarin (Required for daily communication and safety instructions).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of compounding or batch processing experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP, WHMIS, and safety standards.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training is an asset.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail; ability to perform heavy lifting.
