Commercial Station Dental Centre located at Suite 211-2460 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC V5N 4B9 is looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, take dental radiographs, perform infection control, manage supplies, chart findings, and take digital impressions. The candidate must have experience in CAD/CAM design and the design of crowns, bridges, and appliances using specialized software. The salary offered is $36.80 per hour. This is a full-time, permanent, year-round position working 32 hours per week.

We require candidates who have at least 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant, including experience with Cleardent and dental procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures (restorations, extractions, endodontics, etc.)
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Take and process dental radiographs, x-rays
- CAD/CAM design work
- Perform infection control and sterilization procedures following regulatory standards
- Prepare and seat patients; ensure comfort and explain procedures
- Chart dental findings and document treatment accurately
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Manage dental supplies and inventory
- Scanning digital impressions or models
- Designing crowns, bridges, or appliance using specialized software
- Preparing files for milling and 3D printing
- Check digital design before production
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certified as a Dental Assistant (CDA) with BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a dental assistant
- Valid First Aid certification with CPR-C
- Experience with Cleardent, digital X-rays and digital workflow (CAD/CAM) procedures
- Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment coordination
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, friendly, and patient-centered attitude
- Bilingual skills are an asset; Main language of work will be English
