Class 1 Driver / Operator – Full-Time (Edmonton, AB)
Recycle West is hiring a Full-Time Class 1 Driver / Operator based in Edmonton, Alberta to service customers throughout Northern Alberta hauling liquid waste.
What You’ll Do:
Safely transport and haul liquid waste to various customer locations
Operate an 18-speed manual transmission truck
Travel throughout Northern Alberta, including oil lease roads
Complete digital logs and manifests
Work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as required
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
Minimum 2 years of liquid hauling experience (required)
Experience driving quad units is an asset
Comfortable operating an 18-speed manual transmission
Able to safely drive on mountain and oil lease roads
Willing and able to install tire chains during winter conditions
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Current driver’s abstract required
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
12–14 hour shifts
Overnight travel 2–4 nights per week (accommodations provided)
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage
Overtime paid after 8 hours/day
Commission on waste collected
Living Out Allowance (LOA)

Annual earnings of approximately $100,000–$125,000
