The Body Sculptors – Sudbury & North Bay
Part-Time / Occasional Position
Starting Wage: $20.00/hour + Mileage Compensation
The Body Sculptors is looking for an outgoing, creative and highly motivated Promotions & Social Media Specialist to help grow our Sudbury and North Bay locations.
This is NOT a traditional Monday–Friday position with guaranteed weekly hours. This is a part-time, occasional position, with hours based on business needs, promotions, events, content creation and client activity.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, independent and genuinely enjoys marketing, social media, connecting with local businesses and turning inquiries into booked appointments.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing social media for our Sudbury and North Bay locations
- Creating engaging posts, stories, reels and promotional content
- Creating and assisting with advertisements and promotional campaigns
- Obtaining User Generated Content (UGC), including client photos, videos, testimonials and treatment content with appropriate consent
- Reaching out to local businesses to arrange cross-promotions, collaborations, giveaways and business co-op opportunities
- Building relationships with complementary businesses and community partners
- Helping organize local promotional events and marketing initiatives
- Responding to social media messages and client inquiries
- Answering and returning business phone calls and voicemails
- Following up with prospective clients and helping convert inquiries into appointments
- Booking and managing appointments for both Sudbury and North Bay
- Promoting current specials, packages and services
- Visiting both locations as needed to obtain content and assist with promotions
- Helping identify new opportunities to increase bookings, awareness and local exposure
- Assisting with additional marketing, promotional and administrative tasks as required
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right person will be:
- Extremely comfortable using Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms
- Creative and capable of producing attractive, engaging content
- Confident communicating with clients by message and phone
- Comfortable approaching businesses and proposing collaborations
- Organized and able to follow up consistently with leads
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision
- Professional, friendly and outgoing
- Sales-minded — you understand that the ultimate goal of marketing is to generate actual bookings and revenue
- Comfortable learning our services, promotions, pricing and booking system
- Available during regular weekday business hours when required
- Comfortable completing some work remotely during evenings and weekends, including monitoring and responding to client inquiries, messages, calls and voicemails
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence and be willing to travel between our Sudbury and North Bay locations as required.
Mileage compensation will be provided for approved business travel.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
Starting wage: $20.00/hour + mileage compensation
This position is PART-TIME / OCCASIONAL.
Regular or minimum weekly hours are NOT guaranteed.
Hours will fluctuate depending on business needs, promotional campaigns, appointments, events and marketing projects. Some weeks may require more involvement than others.
We prefer someone with flexible weekday availability who is also comfortable handling certain responsibilities remotely during evenings and weekends.
This position would be ideal for someone looking for flexible supplemental work rather than someone requiring a guaranteed number of hours every week.

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply “post on social media.” We want someone who can create attention, build relationships, generate leads and help turn those leads into paying clients.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
