Upper Canada Road Services is hiring career minded skilled line painting technicians to join our Pavement Marking division. Pay is dependent upon experience. Our current work sites are in and around the GTA. Our shop where we start and finish every day is in Markham.
We are a reputable company with a good work environment and offer competitive wages, benefits and opportunities to grow. The job is seasonal from April through the end of the season (early December). The hours are varied as we depend on the weather, therefore their are some early days and some long 12-13 hr shifts.
Qualifications Required:
It is important that you are a team player, a hard worker with a "can do" attitude.
* Have a valid "G" Driver's licence with a clean (insurable) record.
You must also:
* Enjoy working outside and being hands on in a team environment
* Be able to work flexible hours including day, nights and weekend shifts
* Able to follow direction and think on your feet
* Be able to understand and read measurements as well as basic math skills.
* Be able to lift up to 30 kg
* Be somewhat mechanically inclined
