Phillips Bros Excavating, a family owned and operated company, has been proudly serving the construction industry for over 27 years. We are seeking a heavy equipment operator to operate a wide variety of equipment within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, graders, and skid steers.
· Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
· Ensure safe machine operation and maintain awareness of surroundings and personnel.
· Report on mechanical issues and assist with minor repairs as needed.
· Work collaboratively with other crew members and supervisors.
· Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
· Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
· Valid driver’s license
· Strong understanding of safety procedures and machinery operation.
· GPS controlled equipment experience would be considered an asset.
