Position Summary:
North 52 Cabinets is seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinet Installer to join our team on a part-time, casual basis as a subcontractor. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who values flexibility and takes pride in delivering high-quality custom cabinetry installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting cabinet design drawings and completing installations with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install custom cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and other interior spaces with precision and attention to detail
- Interpret cabinet design drawings and specifications
- Measure and mark installation reference points
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of cabinet installation experience (custom cabinetry preferred)
- Must operate as an independent subcontractor
- Must have your own necessary set of tools to fully complete installations
- Must possess valid WCB (Workers' Compensation Board) coverage
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
- Ability to interpret detailed design drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and maneuver cabinetry and materials as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
