Weis & Associates is a Toronto-based building consulting, design, and brand identity firm with a focus on automotive retail and service design, production and construction. We have an unparalleled body of experience in the automotive vertical, working on some of the world’s most prestigious facilities. Our work focuses primarily on developing automotive retail (car dealership) design concepts for major car brands.
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement & Project Integration Manager to lead the development of our procurement function and support the rollout of a new program across multiple projects.
This role blends procurement strategy with hands-on implementation. You will be responsible not only for executing procurement activities, but also for building processes, establishing vendor networks, and shaping how procurement integrates into our overall project delivery model.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring procurement aligns seamlessly with design intent, construction timelines, and on-site execution, while helping scale our operations for future growth.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the build-out and continuous improvement of Weis’ procurement processes, standards, and tools.
- Support the rollout of a new program, ensuring procurement strategies align with program delivery requirements across multiple nation-wide projects.
- Develop scalable workflows for sourcing, tendering, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Establish procurement governance, documentation standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project budgets, schedules, and client objectives.
- Work with client on final processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Identify and onboard key program suppliers, manufacturers, and partners.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and risk mitigation across projects.
- Oversee full lifecycle procurement of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) packages for corporate identity programs.
- Manage specifications, budgets, procurement schedules, and logistics.
- Track orders, expediting, and delivery to ensure alignment with key project milestones.
- Coordinate with local installers and actively resolve procurement-related site issues in partnership with local teams.
- Work closely with Weis design and project management teams to integrate procurement into project workflows.
- Participate in project planning and coordination meetings to align procurement with design intent and construction schedules.
- Act as the bridge between internal teams, vendors, consultants, and site teams.
- Conduct site visits as needed to support delivery and installation.
- Manage and expand a robust supplier network aligned with Weis client project types and geographic footprint.
- Evaluate vendor performance, pricing structures, and reliability.
- Establish long-term supplier relationships and preferred vendor programs.
- Stay current with market trends, lead times, and supply chain risks.
- Own procurement budgets and track cost performance across multiple projects.
- Provide regular reporting on procurement status, risks, and financial impacts.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership.
- Proven experience within commercial construction, interiors, or FF&E procurement.
- Demonstrated ability to build or scale procurement functions and processes.
- Strong experience managing complex, multi-project procurement environments.
- Deep understanding of project-based delivery (design → procurement → installation).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Experience in automotive retail, branded environments, or multi-site rollouts.
- Familiarity with global corporate identity programs or design standards.
- Experience working alongside architects, designers, and construction teams.
- Exposure to Revit / BIM workflows or technical design documentation.
- Fluent in English and French.
