We are looking for a motivated and dependable Golf Course Groundskeeper / Equipment Operator to join our golf course maintenance team for the season.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and takes pride in maintaining a golf course that guests enjoy playing every day.
Position Details
* Seasonal Full-Time
* 5 days per week
* 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
* Employment through late September or early October
* Free golf for employees
Primary Responsibilities
* Operate ride-on mowing equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
* Help maintain excellent playing conditions throughout the golf course
Once primary responsibilities are completed, additional duties may include:
* General golf course maintenance
* Tree trimming
* Campground maintenance
* Other seasonal maintenance projects as required
Qualifications
* Previous golf course, landscaping, or equipment operating experience is preferred
* Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance skills are considered an asset
* Valid driver’s licence
* Able to work independently and contribute positively to a team
* Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing quality work
* Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Weekend work is generally not required. However, occasional weekend shifts may be necessary to make up for work delayed by weather.
