Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations within our towing services. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with commercial driving, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers with vehicle retrieval and provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the tow truck or vehicles being serviced.
- Utilize Flatbed truck or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading vehicles or parts.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including documentation of vehicle conditions and locations.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure safety for team members and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid G or D licence with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Experience with automotive repair is preferred.
- Customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and courteously.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or towing services is desirable.
