Our exclusive client, a well-established and respected company with over 75 years of success, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team in Vars.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labour experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Clean criminal record
- Reliable transportation required (location not accessible by public transit)
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Receive, inspect, and count incoming inventory for accuracy
- Unpack and store received goods in designated locations
- Direct delivery trucks and assist with unloading material
- Prepare branch transfers and customer deliveries, including loading vehicles
- Replenish warehouse and front counter inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard
- Maintain and operate warehouse equipment according to company procedures
- Assist at the sales counter during busy periods or staff shortages
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders as required
- Perform minor building maintenance as assigned
- Process customer returns and credits in accordance with company procedures
- Verify packing slips and ASNs to ensure shipment accuracy
- Receive, verify, label, and put away inventory
- Store materials in designated locations according to location codes
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- · Deliver materials from the branch to customer sites safely and on time

Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 4:00pm, overtime required from time to time depending on the workload.
Wage: $23.42 per hour
