Reporting into the Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist, the Communications Co-op will support the delivery of internal communications across the organization. This role is situated within the Human Resources team and works closely with HR and cross-functional partners. You will assist with drafting communications, supporting employee engagement initiatives, maintaining intranet content, and contributing to a variety of organization-wide projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Internal Communications & Content Execution
Assist in drafting employee communications , including emails, announcements, and internal updates .
Employee Engagement & Experience Support
Coordinate and execute employee engagement events, including days of recognition, spotlight series, and seasonal campaigns .
Communication Compliance & Process Improvement
Additional Program Support & Special Projects
- Support onboarding communications for new employees and acquisitions .
- Contribute to a wide range of evolving HR and business initiatives as needed .
- Maintain organization and tracking of communication requests and deliverables .
Provide flexible support in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift regularl y.
Currently enrolled in a post secondary Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, or related program .
WHAT WE OFFER
- Expected Base Salary: $20 - $23 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
