Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other documentation related to transportation activities.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading cargo.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment efficiently.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues on the road or at the facility.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance records.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Physical ability to load, unload, lift, and move freight or equipment as needed. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery in transportation operations.
Pay: $19.95-$36.50 per hour
